Would girls who claim they “want to look good for themselves” feel good if men ignore them?

and men wouldn’t give them the time of day; making them feel unattractive and unnoticeable? Will these women still say they're only prettifying themselves for themselves if that happens? How can they be certain about their attractiveness if no one is confirming it? I think it's lying to oneself when a woman denies she's prettifying herself only for herself and she hates when men give her attention. As a self-professed tease, I find their hypocrisy disgusting.
