Could anyone beat Bruce Lee in a fight?

A friend and I are having a bit of a debate. My friend is convinced that no person at their prime, living or dead, could beat Bruce Lee in a fight when he was at his prime. It doesn't matter if they're a heavyweight world champion MMA fighter, or a master Shaolin monk. His argument is that Bruce Lee was so fast and strong, that in a fair, one on one fight, Bruce Lee would be able to beat them by throwing blows and then evading any retaliation. When I point out that Bruce Lee was terrible at grappling, he insists that Bruce Lee could win before his opponent could bring the fight to the ground. My friend has no martial arts experience himself. Please, can a credible unbiased authority on the subject of Bruce Lee, or fighting in general just end this debate once and for all.
