How can I convince my parents to let me play the cello?

Your parents know that you have a love for music, and you already have experience with other instruments, and they refuse this??? If it's about the cost, find out what you can do to help out. Maybe you can do chores to show appreciation. It's seems odd that they wouldn't want you to try it out.
